PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 28-year-old man was arrested on Thursday after he was linked a series of burglaries in Portland and Beaverton.
Beaverton Police said Cody Orion Runyon is linked to 6 burglaries in Beaverton and at least 20 in the Portland area. They nicknamed him the “big nose burglar” because his nose appeared large in surveillance images before he was identified.
The 6 burglaries in Beaverton were at Mandarin Palace, Hillside Pub, Changs Mongolian Grill, Century 16 Theater, Thai Bloom and Fireside Grill.
Police said they’ve been looking for Runyon since May 31. It was at a hotel in Gresham where police recognized him and alerted Beaverton Police.
Runyon is currently booked at the Washington County Jail. He faces several 1st-degree burglary charges.
Runyon has a long criminal history ranging from drug possession to harassment.
