PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man’s body was found in a green space in Northeast Portland in circumstances police called “suspicious-in-nature.”
The man, later identified as 59-year-old Christopher A. Tompkins, was spotted shortly before 4 p.m. in the 6800 block of Northeast Broadway, authorities said. PPB’s homicide detail was called to the scene.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine Tompkins died. Detectives don’t believe there is any danger to the public.
