PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Department of Environmental Quality met with Bullseye Glass Tuesday but it’s unclear what specifics were discussed.

KOIN 6 News learned the two sides met to get a plan in place to ensure Bullseye has a path to move forward and all decisions made will be done in a way that protects public health.Bullseye announced it would have to lay off employees after the DEQ issued a cease and desist order.

KOIN 6 cameras weren’t allowed inside the meeting and no one from either DEQ or Bullseye would answer questions afterwards.
