VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN) — A driver was saved after his car plunged down a gully in Clark County, officials say.
According to Clark County Fire District 6, the driver veered off Highway 99, just south of 119th Street on Wednesday afternoon. The car sheared off a power pole before dropping 25 feet down a gully.
Once crews arrived at the scene, they were met with what CCFD6 described as a “daunting challenge.” Despite this, firefighters were able to reach the car and worked to get the man back on solid ground.
No injuries were reported.
