PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A motorcyclist was killed in a Saturday afternoon crash on Highway 214 between Woodburn and Mt. Angel, police said.
The crash happened just before 5 p.m. at milepost 41 near Elliott Prairie Road, ODOT officials said.
Mt. Angel police said the motorcyclist died at the scene. The motorcycle appeared to have crossed the center line for unknown reasons.
The motorcyclist was later identified as 50-year-old Travis Corter of Hillsboro.
Four people were inside the car involved in the crash and one was transported with unknown injuries.
The highway reopened after nearly 5 hours.
No further details have been released.
