PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The eastbound lanes of Highway 6 that were closed Tuesday morning after a semi-truck carrying cows overturned near the Tillamook/Washington county lines, have reopened, officials said.

At around 11:30 a.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that the crash happened at milepost 34.

Forest Grove Fire Department assisted other crews with cutting the trailer to release the cows from the tipped semi.
