PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Multiple cars crashed in Wood Village Sunday afternoon, causing road closures as authorities investigated.

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office tweeted from the scene of the crash at NE 238th Avenue and Birch Avenue around 4 p.m. Authorities said several people were hurt, however those injuries were described as “non life-threatening.”

The northbound lanes of NE 238th Ave were closed between NE Arata Road and Halsey Street for roughly an hour as crews cleared the area. The MCSO reopened the road to traffic at approximately 5 p.m.
