PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The two people killed in a crash in North Portland on Wednesday have been identified as teenage sisters.

The crash happened shortly before 9 a.m. in the area of North Going Street and North Greeley Avenue, Portland police said. According to the initial investigation, a white sedan was driving south on Greeley Avenue when it crossed the center line and crashed into a gray SUV traveling north.
The driver and passenger of the sedan died. They were identified as 19-year-old Ana E. Moreno Hernandez, and her passenger and sister, 15-year-old Kaylee D. Moreno Hernandez.
The driver of the SUV was not cited. Police said the investigation into the crash is ongoing.

De La Salle High School wrote on Facebook Friday that Ana graduated in 2018. Kaylee was a 9th-grader at Central Catholic High Valley.
The school will be closed Tuesday so students, families and staff can attend their service.
The school also shared a GoFundMe page in their honor.
