TROUTDALE, Ore. (KOIN) – Detectives have taken a person into custody after two people were stabbed on board a Greyhound Bus along Interstate 84.
The stabbing occurred around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday along eastbound I-84 near Exit 18, which is the exit for Lewis and Clark State Park.
The two people stabbed are expected to be physically okay. Both were taken to the hospital via ambulance, according to the sheriff’s office.
A TriMet bus was used to transport the passengers from the Greyhound bus to the Troutdale Policing Community Center.
Detectives assigned to the East Multnomah County Major Crimes Team are conducting interviews with passengers and the suspect.
The name of the person who detectives have in custody has not been released.
A spokesperson for Greyhound has not responded to KOIN 6 News after repeated attempts for comment.
