PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One arrest was made after five different law enforcement agencies responded to a possible burglary and shots fired on Sauvie Island Tuesday night.

Just before 8 p.m., the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Northwest Reeder Road after a report of a burglary in progress and shots fired. Authorities said they were dealing with a possibly barricaded subject in a 12:30 a.m. press release on Wednesday morning.

At 5:30 a.m., CCSO told KOIN 6 News one arrest had been made and no one was injured. The suspect was identified as Jesse William Ioerger, but no further information has been released at this time.

A long stretch of NW Reeder Road was closed well into the morning but has since reopened.

MCSO is assisting alongside Columbia County police, Portland police and Oregon State Police. KOIN 6 News will have more information as it develops.
