PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two teenage boys were arrested Thursday night after police said a shot was fired inside a car.

Portland police were notified of the incident in the 5500 block of Northeast 48th Avenue shortly before 9:30 p.m.  A witness reported seeing a car driving westbound on Killingsworth Street.

Officers found the car matching the suspect vehicle description and pulled it over. Police arrested the two people inside the car and recovered two guns. They also discovered a single bullet hole in the roof.

The suspects — 18-year-old Marquise Djuan Brazile and 18-year-old Calvin Jerome Jackson — were booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center. Brazile was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a loaded firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm and assault. Jackson was charged with possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a firearm.

No one was injured as a result of Thursday’s shooting.
