PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One person is dead following an early morning shooting in Northeast Portland on Tuesday, according to police.

Shots rang out around 4:15 a.m. near the 4800 block of Northeast 100th Avenue. The sole victim was dead by the time officers arrived at the scene.

Officers asked for the public’s help to identify the victim. They said he was a light-skinned man, possibly Hispanic, in his 30s, about 5-foot-11 and 169 pounds with short brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with “Athletic Dept. 21” printed on the front in blue letters with blue and white stripes on both arms. He was also wearing dark jeans and black boots. He had a tattoo on his left arm.

On January 25, police publicly identified him as Miguel Angel Armenta-Hernandez. He was 41
