Portland Police say 25-year-old JaMarie Herring Sr. was shot and killed early Sunday morning inside Mingle Lounge. Later that night, in the same area, police reported another shooting after a victim was found a block away with a gunshot wound to the torso.

Within hours, police learned four other men, all between the ages of 21-32, had also been shot and taken to hospitals. They had all been attending a vigil for Herring Sr. that morning.

None of the injuries are life-threatening. Over 50 rounds were fired, and investigators are still looking into how many guns were involved.

Meawnwhile, authorities say the suspect in the first shooting, which killed Herring Sr., turned himself in on Monday evening. Twenty-two-year-old Rolando L. Mingledoff Jr. turned himself in to homicide detectives and is currently in the Multnomah County Detention Center on second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon charges.

Contact Portland Police if you were at the Mingle Lounge or have any information about the shooting.
