PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man was shot to death late Saturday night in Woodburn and the shooter remained at large for a week.

The shooting was reported around 11:45 p.m. September 5 in the 200 block of Oswald Street. When police arrived they found a man, later identified as Javier Montes-Reyes, dead at the scene. He was 27.

Days later they identified the suspect as Isidro Aguilera Jr. The 38-year-old remained at large until September 13 when he was arrested by Wilsonville police at Southwest 95th and Ridder. He was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Aguilera Jr. is expected to face charges for murder, unlawful use of a weapon and being a felon with a gun.
