PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A person was shot in the torso in Northeast Portland early Wednesday morning, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

Officers said the victim was conscious and talking when they arrived at Northeast Broadway and Northeast 66th Avenue just before 1:20 a.m. Paramedics took them to a hospital for treatment.

No arrests were made, police said. The PPB Enhanced Community Safety Team is leading the investigation.
