PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland man who allegedly tried to get children to perform sexually explicit acts is facing nearly three dozen criminal charges.

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said Mitchell Colton Taylor turned himself in on Wednesday after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Dec. 28.

Taylor was wanted on 35 charges including attempting to use a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, luring a minor and encouraging child sexual abuse.

Authorities said the crimes took place between December 2017 and March 2018, according to the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.

The 30-year-old was arraigned Thursday in Multnomah County Circuit Court.

He’s due back in court on Feb. 19.
