PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two people were shot in Portland’s Cully neighborhood overnight–one person did not survive.
Just before midnight on Thursday, shots were reportedly fired near the 6700 block of Northeast Killingsworth Street. Police said a man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A woman had also been shot, she was declared dead at the scene.
On Friday, police identified the victim as Evelin Barajas. Her death was declared a homicide.
