GRESHAM, Ore. (KOIN) — One of the 2 men suspected of stealing $80,000 in construction equipment from a church property in Gresham was arrested Wednesday after police received a number of tips.

Gabriel Deere was arrested but the other suspect, although identified, has not yet been taken into custody.

Deere, 43, and the other man are believed to be responsible for stealing a John Deer skid steer and mini excavator from the future home of Rise City Church. The 30,000-square foot facility was formerly Skateworld and has been under renovations for about a year.
