PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Family and friends of a Molalla woman who was found dead in a Beaverton home say they want help finding her killer.
Amy Low, who would have turned 30 next month, was found dead on November 17 at a home near Southeast Allen Boulevard and Lombard Avenue in Beaverton.
Low’s family described her as a free spirit who was close to her family and loved animals.
“When she walked into a room a lot of people gravitated towards her. She was a bright light in a lot of people’s lives,” said Amy’s sister-in-law Emelie Low. “Some people you love ’em or hate ’em but with Amy you loved her or just hadn’t met her yet.”
Loved ones can’t imaging who would have wanted her dead.
Family members told KOIN 6 News she told them she was heading to where her ex-boyfriend lived in Beaverton. They hadn’t heard from her in a few weeks before she was found dead.
The family has set up a memorial along a bridge in Molalla near where she grew up.
Police said it was difficult to identify Low because of the condition her body was found in. They are still investigating the homicide.
One neighbor said the night before the police showed up, there was a large bonfire in the backyard and detectives were seen rummaging through the rubble. There is also a burned out trailer on the property.
The family has a GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses.
