PORTLAND, Ore. (PORTLAND TRIBUNE) — Police arrested a convicted felon on drug and gun charges after a traffic stop in the Entertainment District of downtown Portland late Friday.
Lance S. Palmer, 54, was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on an outstanding warrant and charges of felon in possession of a firearm, felony in possession of cocaine, unlawful use of a vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, felon in possession of a restricted weapon, and possession of a loaded firearm in public, a violation of the City Code.
According to police, Palmer was arrested after Central Precinct officers assigned to the Entertainment District initiated a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle in the area of Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Harvey Milk Street at 11:19 p.m. on Aug. 30.
