PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Public health officials announced six more cases of coronavirus Thursday night at a veterans’ home in Lebanon.

The presumptive-positive cases include one man between the ages of 55 and 74 and five men 75 or older at Edwards C. Allworth Veterans’ Home, according to the Oregon Health Authority. Two cases were confirmed there on Wednesday — marking the first coronavirus cases in Linn County. OHA said all eight cases are linked but the exact source of their exposures is unknown. All of the men are in isolation.

Also on Thursday, the first presumptive positive case of COVID-19 was diagnosed in Clackamas County. Health officials also said two other cases were diagnosed in Washington County.

A Clackamas County man between 35-54 had close contact with a previous case. The new Washington County cases are women older than 55 who are considered to be community-spread cases, the Oregon Health Authority said.

Overall there are now 30 cases in Oregon, 10 of them in Washington County.
