PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN 6) – Four men have been indicted by a Multnomah County grand jury for the July 17 shooting inside a parking structure at the Lloyd Center Mall, according to police and prosecutors.

Romel Jahlil Yarborough, 27, who police say is a documented Crip gang member, is charged with one count of attempted aggravated murder with a firearm, two counts of attempted murder with a firearm, seven counts of unlawful use of a weapon with a firearm, one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and one count of riot.

Police say Yarborough was the shooter. He is not in custody and a warrant has out for his arrest. Authorities on Monday urged him to turn himself in. Police say Yarborough should be considered armed and dangerous.Three other suspects

Masico Laveral Walker Jr., 23, is charged with one count of riot.

Bruce Derick Hall Jr., 24, and Manuelito Fernando Gonzales, 23, are each charged with one count of riot and attempted third-degree assault.

The four men are charged with riot because prosecutors say, together, they engaged in “tumultuous and violent” conduct. Their behavior “intentionally and recklessly” caused a “grave risk of causing public alarm,” according to court documents.Shooting investigation

The Portland Police Bureau’s Gang Enforcement Team says the investigation started at 8:22 p.m. when officers responded to the report of gunfire at the Lloyd Center Mall. Police say there was a disturbance inside the mall that led to gunshots being fired outside the mall, in the parking structure on the northwest side of the mall. There were no reports of any injuries.

Gonzales was taken into custody on July 21. He has a pending felon in possession of a firearm case out of Multnomah County.

Walker and Hall were taken into custody on July 23. They were initially held on a probation violation until the grand jury indictment.Suspects’ criminal record, according to court documents

In 2012, Yarborough was charged with attempted murder, second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Police say he was involved in a shootout between a vehicle and group of people in Northeast Portland on July 4, 2012. The Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office dismissed the case in December 2012.

In 2013, Hall was convicted of unlawful use of a weapon and attempting to commit a Class A felony.

In 2014, Walker was convicted of unlawful use of a weapon, recklessly endangering another person, and menacing.

In 2014, Gonzales plead guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm. His first conviction, according to court records, came in 2009 when he plead guilty to unlawful use of a weapon.

Walker, Hall and Gonzales all arraigned on the secret grand jury indictment on Monday morning at the Multnomah County Justice Center.
