PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 15-year-old is accused sexually abusing a pregnant staff member at his school on Jan. 3.
According to court documents, David Michael Ferris was working alone with the specialist at Arata Creek School in Troutdale when he got frustrated and pinned her against against the wall. He is accused of forcing his hand down her shirt.
She was eventually able to get the door open and call for help. According to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, Ferris was taken into custody after deputies investigated the altercation.
He is charged with first-degree sex abuse in Multnomah County juvenile court. KOIN 6 News is identifying Ferris because he is being charged as an adult under Measure 11. Ferris pleaded not guilty. The case will be turned over the a grand jury.
Arata Creek is a 6-12 grade school with a “social emotional skills program.”
