PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A pedestrian died in a crash along eastbound I-84 early Sunday morning, closing those lanes for nearly 3 hours during the investigation.
The eastbound freeway was closed at NE 33rd Avenue beginning around 8:20 a.m. The lanes were closed for several hours.
By Wednesday, the Portland Police Bureau’s Major Crash Team determined the incident to be a suicide. Because of this, the victim’s identity will not be released.
