MILWAUKIE, Ore. (KOIN) — Residents of a Milwaukie neighborhood tell KOIN 6 News they are fed up with a trash-filled home that has become more than an eyesore over the years.
“You saw the driveway, it’s unbelievable,” Bruce Sittner said.
According to Sittner, garbage has been piling up inside and outside the home near Oatfield and Concord Roads for at least 4 years.

“I’ve probably called code enforcement, me or my wife, probably 50 times,” he said.
But their cries for help have been left unanswered.
“When code enforcement comes out they’ll give her a deadline and then she’ll just shuffle stuff around,” Sittner explained.
It’s a trailer of trash, debris, old cars — even a shipping container filled with junk — that’s causing neighbors to take a stand.
“I want to see it cleaned up, I do,” Sittner said. “It devalues my property.”
A man who claims to live inside the home said they’re working to clean up the mess and hope to get it done soon — even as soon as this weekend.
But neighbors have their doubts, saying they’ve heard it all before.
“I’m going to clean it up, I’m going to clean it up,” Sittner said. “Well, 4 years… I don’t think so. I’d hate to try and sell my house right now with that nextdoor.”
City representatives say the county is handling the case. KOIN 6 News is waiting to hear back from county code officers.
