PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Clackamas County veterinarian was arrested on allegations that he threatened employees.
Keith Richard Bartholomew, 61, faces charges of coercion and menacing for incidents that allegedly happened in September and October 2018.
The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said in September, Bartholomew brandished a handgun at an employee in the parking lot of Companion Pet on SE 82nd Avenue.
In October, Bartholomew is accused of sending threatening text messages to a former employee.
He was arrested on October 31. At that time, authorities confiscated several guns, which they said violated a restraining order out of Multnomah County. He was released on $12,500 bail.
The Clackamas County Inter-Agency Task Force and DEA are also investigating a case involving tampering with drug records and allegations of animal abuse and neglect.
