PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A new simulation video shows how a tsunami generated by an earthquake would affect Washington state.
The Washington State Department of Natural Resources released video that shows how the tsunami would affect the coast in the case of a 9.0 earthquake.
Each video is sped up 300 times in order to show the spread of the tsunami over a period of several hours.
