PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The high school football playoffs got underway Friday with the KOIN 6 Blitz spotlighting 4 key games in our area.

  • Top-ranked Lake Oswego had all they could handle from No. 32 Newberg, but came out on top, 49-40.
  • No. 10 Lakeridge doubled up on No. 23 Grant, 28-14
  • No. 4 Central Catholic shellacked No. 29 Oregon City at Hillsboro Stadium, 49-0
  • No. 14 Westview scored early and often, defeating No. 19 Barlow, 57-34
