A cooler weekend is on the way from the coast through the valley. More in the way of morning low clouds and afternoon sunshine will be the rule for the next 5-7 days. No signs of any rain in the next week. Temperatures along the coast will be in the 60s, while the valley will see temperatures in the lower 80s. The onshore push will also help to move the fire smoke / haze off to the east over the weekend. With the push of marine air continuing, humidity levels will also come up. This should help the fire efforts in the gorge. However, the westerly wind in the gorge will also continue. No sign of any 90s / significant heatwaves anytime in the next 7-10 days. The dry / warm summer weather rolls on.
